- Machine Tool Interface (Taper Shank) Standard BT toolholders are recommended for general machining below 12,000 rpm. When the speed exceeds 12,000 rpm, centrifugal force enlarges taper clearance, so BT holders are not applicable above 15,000 rpm.
BBT toolholders are preferred for general machining at 12,000–20,000 rpm with favorable cost performance. They can directly replace BT toolholders on existing BT machines.
HSK toolholders are suitable for high-speed & high-precision machining ranging from 12,000 to 60,000 rpm. HSK-A is for general milling, while HSK-E/F (without keyway for superior symmetry) applies to ultra-high-speed finishing.
- Clamping System (Tool Side) Power milling chucks are recommended for heavy cutting and roughing below 15,000 rpm.
ER toolholders fit conventional milling at 15,000–20,000 rpm, yet not for long-term operation over 20,000 rpm.
Hydraulic toolholders are ideal for high-speed finish milling, reaming and frequent tool changes at 20,000–25,000 rpm, featuring outstanding vibration damping and easy tool change.
Shrink fit toolholders are adopted for small cutters, mold machining and high-gloss aluminum machining at 25,000–30,000 rpm. They deliver strong clamping force, tiny runout, slim body with low interference and excellent symmetry.

- ≤12,000 rpm: BBT40 + balanced ER / hydraulic toolholder
- 12,000‑25,000 rpm: HSK‑A63/A50, shrink fit / hydraulic, G2.5
- ＞25,000 rpm: HSK‑E32/E40, shrink fit, G1.0

On the afternoon of October 9, a large truck loaded with multiple CNC machining centers slowly pulled into the branch plant dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of CNC tool holders of Dezhou Guochang Machinery Co., Ltd. This marked the third batch of new production equipment introduced by the company since the inauguration of its new R&D and manufacturing plant for CNC tool holders.
Many machining workshops with older equipment face a long-standing headache: their machine spindles have mediocre accuracy, creating slight misalignment between the pre-drilled hole and the spindle. If a rigid tool holder is used directly with a reamer, cutting edges will cut the workpiece unevenly.
On September 28, the sales team of Dezhou Guochang Machinery Co., Ltd. arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, and settled in the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center to attend MAKTEK Eurasia 2026, Türkiye’s International Machine Tools & Metal Processing Fair.
